Indictments filed against six Palestinians planning kidnapping
The Shin Bet arrested six wanted Palestinians aged 18 - 33, including two from Hamas and four from the Hebron area Islamic Jihad. The men had split into two groups and planned to kidnap civilians and soldiers to use in bargaining for the release of Palestinian prisoners.
During interrogations, the men provided information regarding how to manufacture explosives and on at-the-ready explosives. Indictments were issued against cell members in the Judea Military Court. (Yoav Zitun)
