Journalist testifies in Lieberman fraud trial

Journalist Geula Even testified in former Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman's trial and discussed an interview she held with former Deputy Foreign Minister Daniel Ayalon.

During the interview, Ayalon said he didn’t remember whether Lieberman pushed the appointment of ambassador Zeev VBen Aryeh. He later testified that Lieberman had ordered the appointment. Even said in her testimony that she did not promise Ayalon not to ask him about the affair prior to the interview, as he suggested. (Aviel Magnezi)
