150 teachers protest in front of TLV Education Ministry

Some 150 teachers are protesting in front of the Tel Aviv offices of the Education Ministry. They are demanding the regulation of reform in the schools at which they teach.

David Ben Zohar, director of a high school in the city explained, "We want two reforms, that eight and ninth grade teachers be included in the 'New Horizon' program, and that teachers of eleventh and twelfth grades in ‘Strength for Change.’ An impossible situation has been created which resulted in two classes of teachers in one room, and it will be reflected in wages."
