Deri condemns Abu Ghosh 'price tag'

Shas Chair Aryeh Deri visited the site of the "price tag" attack in the Arab village of Abu Ghosh and roundly condemned the act, saying "I'm here to denounce this. This is not Judaism, this is anti-Judaism and anti-Torah and whoever did it compromised the spirit of Israel's Torah. You need be mentally ill to write such a thing."

The tires of 28 cars in Abu Ghosh were slashed early Tuesday morning. Graffiti reading "racism or assimilation" and "Arabs out" was sprayed on nearby walls.(Noam Dvir)
