Euromoney: Hapoalim best bank in Israel
Israel's biggest bank honored by international finance magazine for second consecutive year
After being selected as Israel's
best bank by Global Finance
magazine, Bank Hapoalim has been given the same title by the Euromoney business and finance magazine for the second consecutive year.
Euromoney has been ranking the world's financial institutions since 1992, and covers the banking system in some 100 countries around the world today, giving out prizes in more than 20 different categories.

Bank Hapoalim CEO Zion Kenan said in response to the selection, "Bank Hapoalim is happy to receive this important recognition from a prestigious global magazine. The title points to the international acknowledgement of the bank's excellence and impressive accomplishments.
"We are very proud of our financial performance in recent years, and we are as proud of our achievements in meeting our customers' needs and supporting the Israeli economy. An accurate fulfillment of our strategic program will strengthen our ability to continue leading in the future as well."
Other financial institutions awarded by Euromoney are Wells Fargo Bank, which was named the best global bank, and Goldman Sachs, which was selected as the best investment bank in the world.
