Livni concludes first day of talks with 'positive atmosphere'

At the end of the first meeting with the Palestinian negotiations team in Washington, Justice Minister Tzipi Livni said: "We definitely started off with a positive atmosphere. The talks are discreet and no one wants to harm anything."

Speaking to Ynet, Livni further added: "We all understand that once you enter the blame game and things leave the room, it only harms (the process). It is true (talks) started with an American push, but both sides are willing to move forward." (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
