Islamic Jihad leader: Negotiations with Israel are trap
Islamic Jihad Leader Ramadan Shalah slammed the renewal of talks between Israel and the Palestinians and said: "I believe that the Palestinian leadership is aware that the renewal of talks places the Palestinian issue on the barter table together with other Middle East issues, and I hope they will not fall into this trap."
Shalah, who made the remarks in Beirut, added that "the Arab Initiative is a new and more dangerous Balfur Declaration. The Zionist enterprise is about to reap the last fruits of the Nakba when they declare Palestine as a Jewish-only state." (Elior Levy)
