Labor Court orders cease of Foreign Ministry sanctions

Under pressure from the National Labor Court, Foreign Ministry workers have agreed to halt their sanctions starting Thursday and enter mediation with the Finance Ministry.

The sanctions, based on work disputes, have deeply affected the Israeli economy. The Foreign Ministry has ceased its consulate services, leaving hundreds of Israeli citizens trapped outside the country, and causing the cancelation of over 2,000 youth delegations to Poland.
