UN chief condemn rocket fire on Israel
UN Chief Ban Ki-moon condemned Thursday's rocket fire on Israel from Lebanese soil. Ban called on all sides to show restraint and cooperate with the UN force in the area, UNIFIL, to prevent an escalation.
Ban said that the rockets formed a breach of UN decision 1701 (the ceasefire agreement which ended the Second Lebanon War), and added that the UN will continue to investigate the event. (AFP)
