Gas prices go up nationwide
The price of gas rose at midnight on Saturday by 3.29%, or an additional NIS 0.15 ($0.04) per liter. The maximum price per liter of 95-octane gasoline in self-service and including VAT, will now be NIS 7.85. The fueling commissions remain NIS 0.18 per liter including VAT.
The increased cost of gasoline is attributed to several factors: an increase in the price of gasoline in the Mediterranean and the rise in excise tax by NIS 0.05 per liter. (Tom Ziv)
