Israel slams UN decision to allow Iran to join WMD watchdog
Israel has lodged a complaint against a UN decision to accept Iran into its chemical weapons watchdog with the committee in charged with regulating the field.
Israeli Ambassador to the UN Ron Prosor wrote in a letter to UN Gen.-Sec. Ban Ki-moon that a country that is under UN Security Council sanctions because of its nuclear arms program should not be appointed to a position in which it reports to the UN about the state of weapons of mass destruction."
