Police raid counterfeit op for 10 shekel coins in Ramla

Detectives from the Lahav 433 unit of the Israeli Police raided a counterfeit operation that was manufacturing 10 shekel coins in Ramla. On location they found materials and hundreds of coins suspected of being counterfeit. Weapons and hundreds of thousands of shekels in cash were also found.

Ten suspects tied to the Jaroshi crime organization were taken in for questioning and will be brought before the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court for remand. Since Friday's morning hours, detectives have been raiding living quarters of the group's members throughout the city. (Eli Senyor)
