Suicide bomber attempts attack in north Mali
A French military spokesman says a suicide bomber has blown himself up in northern Mali near a military camp. No else has been wounded.
Hubert de Quievrecourt, a communications adviser for the French-led mission in Mali, said the attacker detonated his explosive belt late Saturday. He says the attack took place near a base in Menaka where forces from neighboring Niger are staying. (AP)
