Source: Hamas, PA rift behind Gaza station shutdown
A security source denied the claim that the power station in Gaza shut down because the Kerem Shalom crossing closed during a conversation with Ynet.
He claimed that the fuel shortage in Gaza was caused by an internal dispute between the Palestinian Authority and Hamas, which has refused to pay for the fuel the PA purchases from Israel. The Kerem Shalom crossing was closed after a worker fixing the border fence was killed on Wednesday. (Elior Levy)
