The IDF soldier that has claimed three men attempt to kidnap him in the Hamra Junction made up his story, police said Sunday afternoon.

The soldier was transferred to Army Police for investigation.

Earlier Sunday, the soldier claimed three men attempted to force him into a car in the Hamra Junction in the southern Galilee region.

The soldier, a resident of Druze town of Beit Jann, further claimed that he evaded that attempted kidnapping by managing to repel the aggressors and fleeing into an adjacent olive grove.

The incident took place between Dier Hana and Maghar while the soldier was trying to make his way to the Golani junction, he said.
