CAIRO - Two members of the Muslim Brotherhood were killed in a shoot out with security forces in the Nile Delta north of Cairo, the state news agency reported on Friday.
The MENA news agency said they were part of a group that had opened fire on police on a road between the cities of Tanta and al-Mahalla al-Kubra in the Nile Delta province of Gharbiya. They had also tried to set ablaze a traffic police checkpoint, according to the report. (Reuters)
