4 policemen hurt, 3 haredim arrested in protest against draft dodger's arrest

Four policemen were injured from stones being thrown at them during a haredi protest against a draft dodger yeshiva student's arrest on Saturday night at the Giv'at Shmuel Interchange on the Geha Highway.

Protesters blocked the road and set fire to tires. Three protesters were arrested on suspicion of illegal gathering, arson and assault of a police officer. They will be brought to the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court for a remand extension Sunday morning. (Gilad Morag)
