Hollande condemns 'cowardly assassination' of three teens

President François Hollande has "strongly condemned" the "cowardly assassination" of three young Israelis kidnapped on June 12 in the West Bank and found dead Monday near Hebron, in a statement released by Paris.

The French president expresses his concern at the upsurge in violence in recent days in the West Bank and Gaza. He condemned the firing of rockets from Gaza into Israeli territory and demanded that "everything be done to avoid further casualties and the risk of an escalation of violence." (AFP)
