Hamas: We launched drones in three waves, took pictures over Kirya
Hamas military wing, Izz a-Din al-Qassam Brigades, said Monday that the drones that infiltrated Israel from Gaza are of 'Ababil 1' variety.
The military wing reported that Hamas engineers manufactured three variants of this UAV model designed for observation, attack and suicide.
According to Hamas there were more than one drone in each wave, but the contact was lost with one of the vehicles in the second and third raids. However, the organization claims it managed to take pictures over the Kirya military base in Tel Aviv.
