Security Council to convene on Gaza fighting
The UN Security Council will convene Monday night for an emergency meeting regarding the situation in Gaza. The discussion comes at the request of the Jordanian ambassador and after Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called for the meeting.
The 15 representatives in the Security Council already met for discussions on the subject on Friday morning but couldn't reach any agreements that would lead to a resolution.
