Sha'ar HaNegev mayor: Respond to rockets like there are no peace talks, work for deal like there is no rocket fire
Alon Schuster, Mayor of the Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council, addressed the renewed rocket fire from Gaza during a ceasefire Tuesday afternoon, saying that, "We need to respond strongly as if there were no peace talks while continuing attempts to reach a long-term agreement as if there was no rocket fire."
According to Schuster, "A diplomatic agreement under international protection, which centers on 'stopping the aggression and disarming in the future', is a significant Israeli interest."
