East J'lem lawyer suspected of passing messages to Hamas
Jerusalem Police and the Shin Bet arrested a resident in the city's east for allegedly passing messages to Hamas. Interrogation of the suspect, Rami Alami, a resident of At-Tur in his thirties, uncovered the fact that he would visit prisoners from the group in Israeli jails, write down messages from them, and pass them on to Hamas using his office computer. The Jerusalem Magistrate Court extended his remand until Monday, when the prosecution is expected to submit an indictment.
