Turkel Committee approves Roni Alsheikh as police chief
The advisory commitee for the appointment of senior civil servants approved on Thursday the appointment of Shin Bet deputy head Roni Alsheikh as the new police chief. The government still needs to approve the appointment, but is expected to give its support.
