Cold and rain, that is what awaits us in the next 24 hours, ahead of an especially chilly weekend with forecasted temperatures nearing 0 degrees in certain areas across the country.
Shlomo Oberman, a forecaster for Meteo-tech, explained that we were already feeling a dramatic decrease in comparison to the annual average. "We are entering a series of especially cold days as a result of a system called the 'Rama Kara' which entered Israel from the north.
"On Friday the weather will be clear and much colder than the average, with strong winds blowing along the coast. On Saturday the weather will continue to be cold."
"Between Saturday and Sunday night, temperatures will drop even further, with mountainous areas expecting anywhere between one to three degrees. The coast will also experience the chilly weather, hovering around 10 degrees. The cold is set to continue into next week, with temperatures only expected to rise on Monday."
