France presents Israel, Palestinians with peace plan
Israeli and Palestinian officials say France has presented the two sides with a proposal for an international peace conference.
France is preparing the conference to bring together the two parties and their American, European and Arab partners in order to revive the peace process. France says it will recognize a Palestinian state if its efforts fail.
