An investigation is underway after fax machines and printers spontaneously started to print off reams of anti-Semitic fliers at universities across United States.
The flyers were printed at Princeton University, DePaul University, Brown University, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, University of California Los Angeles, University of Massachusetts Amherst, and University of Connecticut, amongst others.
Robert Trestan, head of the Anti-Defamation League in the northeast, said that it seems that hackers attributed to racist groups were able to get into the printer and remotely print off these racist flyers. According to Trestan, this seems to be a new tactic for the group.

The flyers, which are addressed to "white men," include incitement against Jews, swastikas, and even the web address of a neo-Nazi site.
Kumble Subbaswamy, Chancellor of University of Massachusetts Amherst, called the flyers "cowardly" in an email to students and faculty on the issue.
He wrote, "this despicable incident reminds us that we must not be complacent as we continue to strive for a society that embraces diversity, inclusion and equity – a society where everyone feels safe and welcome.”
