Palestinians to hold municipal elections in October
The Palestinian leadership announced that municipal elections will be held in October in compliance with the law.
The law states that municipal elections must be held every four years. The last time they were held was in October 2012.
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas meanwhile is on year 11 of a four year term.
