Two East Jerusalem teens sentenced to 11 years for Jerusalem stabbing attack

Two teenagers from the Shuafat neighborhood in East Jerusalem, who carried out a stabbing attack at the Damascus Gate in January 2015, were sentenced to 11 years in prison each.

 

The Jerusalem District Youth Court convicted the two, aged 14 and 16, of attempted murder and the possession of arms. The court also ordered them to each pay a NIS 50,000 fine.

 

The two teens attacked a group of religious youth. The 14-year-old teen managed to stab one of the youth, wounding him lightly.
