3 Palestinians arrested with ancient Hashmonean coins worth tens of thousands of NIS

Three Palestinians from the town of Anata were arrested on Tuesday, after a bag in their vehicle was found to contain dozens of coins from the Hasmonean period.

The suspects were alegedly intending to trade the coins, whose value is estimated at tens of thousands of NIS.
