AG decides to indict MK Basel Ghattas over smuggling phones to terrorists in prison
Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit decided on Thursday to file an indictment against MK Basel Ghattas (Joint List) who is accused of smuggling cellphones to Palestinian security prisoners.
Ghattas is facing charges of conspiring to commit a crime, fraud and breach of trust and violation of an Israel Prisons Service order—bringing contraband into prison.
