Israel Border Police foils attack in Jerusalem
Israel Border Police in Jerusalem stopped a bus on Monday following a tipoff, and conducted a search of the vehicle.
Upon searching the vehicle, they saw a young man, 19, who aroused their suspicions, and took him in for questioning.
The young man was a resident of the West Bank, and was in Israel illegally. After being taken in for questioning, a knife was found on the man, and he expressed his desire to go to the Damascus Gate to carry out an attack on Israeli security forces.
