Attorneys representing Umm al-Hiran police officers: 'it may have been a tragedy of errors'
The attorneys representing the four police officers involved in the Umm al-Hiran incident have stated that "it is quite possible that a tragedy of errors, mainly put in motion by Yaqoub Abu al-Qiyan, led to a justified, gradual fire in his direction, in light of the chaotic circumstances. The officers have faith that the Police Investigations Unit will reach a conclusion according to which the shooting was justified, and that they should not be held accountable."
