Litzman threatening to stop treating Syrian refugees
Health Minister Yaakov Litzman announced Sunday that starting next week he will order hospitals to stop admitting Syrian refugees, unless the government steps in to carry the financial burden of their treatment.
The announcement follows a statement he made earlier this month, in which he claimed that the hospitals can no longer afford the treatment of the Syrian refugees, despite being ordered to do so by the government.
