New Lebanese army chief warns against 'Israel's plots'
The newly appointed Army Chief of Lebanon Joseph Aoun gave his first instruction to his soldiers on Friday, saying "be on full alert in the southern border to battle the destructive plan the Israeli enemy is plotting."
Lebanon appointed General Joseph Aoun as army commander on Wednesday, replacing General Jean Kahwaji who served as the army chief for the past 9 years.
