Israel wins Judo gold
Judoka Tal Flickr won the top spot at the Grand Slam in Baku, Azerbaijan, after besting Japanese judoka Tomofumi Takajo, in the 66kg max. weight range.
Flickr had also technically beaten out an Iranian adversary who did not compete due to claims of an injury.
Another Israeli, Baruch Shamailov, scored the bronze medal in the same weight class.
