The High Court rejects request for interim order against the plea bargain with MK Ghattas

The High Court of Justice rejected the request to issue an interim order to halt the plea bargain with former MK Basel Ghattas (the Joint List), who was caught smuggling cell phones to security prisoners.

The petition was filed by right-wing activists Michael Ben-Ari, Itamar Ben-Gvir, Bentzi Gopstein and Baruch Marzel, in which it was argued that the plea bargain should be annulled.

Judge Meni Mazuz ruled that there was no cause for issuing an interim order and announced that a decision on the petition would be given shortly.
