Israel closes Taba Border Crossing for fear of terrorist attack

The Taba Border Crossing was closed for civilians passing through to the Sinai following reports of a potential terrorist attack. It will remain closed until the end of Passover.
This is the first time a decision to close the Taba Crossing was made by the Security Establishment.
