Arab lawyer sentenced to 7.5 years for passing messages between security prisoners and Hamas

Mohammad Abed, a lawyer from Bi'ina in northern Israel who was convicted in January for passing messages between security prisoners in Israel and Hamas, was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison.
Abed was also sentenced to one year suspended sentence and a NIS 50 thousand fine.
