During her visit, the ambassador was presented with the Yad Vashem album, "To Bear Witness," a catalog of stories and images displayed at the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, as Yad Vashem terms itself. Additionally, she received the "Echoes and Reflections," course book, a comprehensive multimedia program designed for secondary-school educators in the United States to teach about the Holocaust.

At the end of the visit Haley wrote, "We must always honor and remember the lives lost during one of the most horrible times in history. There is a lesson here. Leadership is not about power. Leadership is the acknowledgment and value of human dignity. We must always choose a side."
