Disabled protestors block airport entrance, threaten to set themselves on fire
Naomi Moravia, chairwoman of the Israeli nonprofit Struggle for the Disabled, said that the demonstrators on Highway 1 at the entrance to Ben-Gurion Airport are threatening to set themselves on fire.
"We blocked the entrance to Ben-Gurion Airport and tied ourselves up with chains. We have poured diesel oil on ourselves and will set ourselves aflame if our demands are not met.
"We demand a response. At least to come face to face with us. We are fighting for our lives and demanding a stipend equal to the minimum wage."
