Israel Hayom owner Sheldon Adelson arrives for second testimony in Netanyahu probe
American billionaire Sheldon Adelson, the owner of free newspaper Israel Hayom, arrived Monday morning at the offices of the Lahav 433 investigation unit to testify for the second time in the “Case 2000” affair—the investigation into conversations between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Yedioth Ahronoth publisher Arnon Mozes.
Adelson was first summoned to the Lahav 433 offices several weeks ago, when he arrived in Israel for US President Donald Trump’s visit to the Middle East. At the time, he was asked to address issues related to Israel Hayom, which were raised in the recorded conversations between Netanyahu and Mozes.
