Rivlin: Our heart goes out to terror victims in Halamish
President Reuven Rivlin on Saturday evening sent his condolences to the family of the three Israelis murdered in a terror attack Friday night in Halamish.
"At this difficult time our hearts go out to the bereaved family in Halamish, and to all the community there, after the incomprehensible loss they have endured last night," Rivlin said in a statement released after the end of Shabbat.
"The difficult pictures, and the thoughts of the children who fled for shelter now dealing with the terrible news – it is truly heartbreaking," Rivlin added, praising the bravery of the children's mother, who saved them, and the neighbor, an IDF soldier who shot and neutralized the terrorist.
He called on the international community, including the region's leadership, to condemn the attack and join forces with Israel in the fight against terrorism and incitement.
