Abbas refuses to meet Trump envoy in Ramallah
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas refused to meet with Jason Greenblatt, US President Donald Trump's Middle East envoy, in Ramallah last week, according to Arab source.
According to the report, the reason for the refusal was Greenblatt's threat that Congress will freeze Palestinian Authority funds as a sanction.
Greenblatt eventually met with PLO Secretary General Saeb Erekat and chief of the Palestinian intelligence service Majid Faraj.
