Reported talks between Fatah and Hamas on ending PA sanctions in Gaza
Fatah and Hamas are reportedly holding talks to end the Palestinian Authority's sanctions on the Gaza Strip, as part of a new reconciliation program put forward by President Mahmoud Abbas, according to Arab media.
Abbas will renew the flow of power to the Strip and allow local banks to receive foreign currency, while in return Hamas will dismantle the Gaza Strip's administrative board, serving as a sort of alternative government, and immediately declare voiding the tentative agreements reached with Mohammed Dahlan and his men in Gaza.
