Kahlon in Kulanu meeting: 'Kulanu MKs to vote freely'

Minister of Finance and Kulanu Chairman Moshe Kahlon said during a meeting of his party's parliamentary group Monday his MKs would be free to vote their conscience.

"No member of this party will vote against the dictates of their conscience," he said in light of controversy around the so-called "French law", barring police from investigating the affairs of a sitting prime minister.

"We'll live up to everything included in the coalition agreements. As for what's not in them, every Kulanu member will be free to vote according to their conscience. The State of Israel is too precious for us to let it be susceptible to all kinds of laws and harming the democratic systems vital for us as well as the next generation," he added.
