AG Mandelblit on law prohibiting PM investigation: 'State's most important role will become sanctuary for felons'

Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit spoke about the bill forbidding police from investigating a sitting prime minister at the Kohelet Policy Forum, saying, "It's unthinkable, and the mere fact of having to explain why that's the case is unthinkable unto itself. It does significant damage to the rule of law, the principle of equality before the law and the public's confidence."
