High Court decides to discuss Kotel agreement petition in expanded panel

The High Court of Justice has decided to discuss petitions made regarding the Kotel agreement—initially approved and then frozen by the government—in an expanded panel.

"We've reached the conclusion a panel of seven judges or more should preside over the petitions, with the final number determined by Chief Justice Esther Hayut," the court's decision said.

Several petitions have been made regarding the agreement, the most central of which sought to oblige the government to implement it and allocate a prayer platform for everyone in the southern part of the Western Wall, with similar conditions to the main plaza, to be jointly administrated by mire liberal organizations.
