The state attorney's office—with the approval of the attorney general and state attorney—announced Monday to the attorneys of Lehava leader Benzi Gopstein that he may be indicted, pending a hearing.
Gopstein may be indicted for incitement to violence, incitement to racism and incitement to terrorism offenses as well as for obstruction of justice.
Lehava is a radical right-wing anti-assimilation group propagating the separation of Jews and Arabs, especially as it pertains to personal relationships.
