Lieberman: 'Northern shielding gaps critical, Finance blocks decision implementation'
While meeting heads of local authorities in northern Israel, Minister of Defense Avigdor Lieberman said, "Shielding the home front in the north is severely lacking compared to the south, but our efforts in the south also ran into budgetary difficulties."
"It's also your responsibility to demand the government implement its decisions. The north has to receive a significant increase when it comes to shielding and defending the home front. Ever since the government reached the decision to do so, the Ministry of Finance has been blocking its implementation for unclear reasons," he added.
