Teachers' Association threatens to resume strike on Tuesday
Teachers' Association chairman Ran Erez threatened Thursday that if no agreements are reached between educators and the education system in negotiations with the Finance Ministry, the teachers would renew their strike on Tuesday.
The Finance Ministry said in response, "It's surprising the association announces a strike after meetings were scheduled for today—Thursday—and for Monday. We regret that the Teachers' Association uses belligerent measures after having already announced agreements have been reached."
